I gotta tell you...I had an absolute blast yesterday at the White Elephant Afternoon Tea I hosted! It was SO much fun!!! 7 of my lady friends came over for 2 hours for tea (see the lovely photo!) and to trade out stuff we can't use. Wonderful conversation -- lots of laughs -- getting rid of old stuff -- acquiring stuff we can use -- munching on treats -- it was marvelous! It was so much fun to see how items changed hands & that about 90% of the "stuff" was all sought-after by a new owner! We are definitely looking forward to doing something similar for the summer -- and in the meantime, maybe we'll do something related to entertainment & books! I highly recommend an event like this!

White Elephant Afternoon Tea
I gotta tell you...I had an absolute blast yesterday at the White Elephant Afternoon Tea I hosted! Okay, I'm not a tea drinker, but this looks fabulous! Very pretty table!
I AM a tea drinker (blech to coffee) and this looks like a blast. And coming from the garage sale queen, what a great idea to pass stuff onto friends that would actually use it.
