Another emotional rollercoaster ... and another overwhelming feeling of sadness
Birthmother #4 has viewed our profile & "went with another family." I just keep remembering The Emperor's New Groove when Kuzko is firing Ezma ... "We're going in another direction," "We're not picking up your option," etc. I'm trying to see some humor in this, but it's really hard. We're both very sad. And both wounded enough that we're not much help to each other while we're in pain. It's really hard. It's all very out of our control & decidedly un-fun.

It's a hard thing, being the 'not chosen' ones. But I'm a believer. There's one out there, waiting...believing....needing the family that you have to offer.
And I do believe.

Oh, my dear.... I am so sorry to see you in pain ... your family-to-be is out there somewhere, I just know it!
Grab Ken and give him the biggest hug he's ever gotten and tell him to hug you back . . . or you're not going to let him go. Then cry until you can laugh again. It WILL be worth it!
