Journal Your Christmas, December 1st

It's the first of December, so it's time to start my annual Christmas album, using Shimelle Laine's Journal Your Christmas class as a starting point. This is my 5th year doing her class, and I'm not quite sure where this album will take me, but it's always interesting. I decided to document just random thoughts from today, and how I'm feeling calmer than maybe I should.

December first

I thought about adding a bit that we really thought we'd be parents by now, but I opted not to. I'm sure that'll work its way into the album in some form. It's bittersweet ... the past 2 years of albums have made reference to our hope for adoption, and it's hard to contemplate that nothing's come of it yet.

I love how you set the page up. Your handwriting is awesome too by the way! If I had nice handwriting I might be tempted to paper scrap instead of digi! I'm sure you can't wait for the return of your DSLR too, ours was gone for a month and it almost made me insane.

Sweetie - you're doing great! Good for you for getting off to a good start -- I have never been so behind starting out before!

pretty page. SUsanne I know what you mean about including the adoption. I was going to put why it has been a tough year but know it will work in on other entries.

Great opening. Love the handwriting on noted paper. And I hope you can work through some of your recent feelings on the adoption in the album.

OH!! :-) I'm glad to see you're up and running with the scrapping!

Yup--bittersweet stuff will find it's way to where it's suppose to be.
Cute page, ma'am.

And I do know what you mean by 'behind'.
