Fine dining

We set an elaborate table, resplen- dent in white, gold, and silver, with a splash of blue. The food turned out wonderfully, all around. Our conversation was meaningful and yet punctuated by laughter. What a delight to be able to connect with my mom-and-dad-in-law on Christmas Eve. We will see them again tomorrow, too!
