The ice outside our front window has turned cloudy, with a steady drip-drip-drip as the temperatures reach 34 degrees F. With a partly cloudy sky, the sun is accelerating the process, turning the snow both mushy and crunchy, depending on the condition of the snow. If it gets cold again, which it will, tonight, and our icicles are still intact, we'll have these chill white monsters outside our window, instead of the sparkling crystal delicacies that once graced our view. Just one more reason I prefer for it to get cold, snow, and then
stay cold!
