Curtain of Ice

I had to wrangle myself inside our evergreen to get this shot, because although you can see it easily from the inside of our home, it's harder to see from the outside! A veritable ice-fall (as opposed to a waterfall) is being supported by our tall pine tree, right near our front window. I tried photographing it from inside, but the screen that my eyeballs can edit out is more of a barrier to my technologically marvelous camera. All hail the naked eye! In any event, this curtain of ice is simply stunning today, with our brilliant sunshine and our -15F windchill temperatures.
