Phenomenal Cosmic Power ...

I really had to just relax my brain & free myself of limitations to do this journaling exercise. When I decided it was reasonable for me to have power over the cosmos, the rest of it came quite naturally. What one variable could I affect that would have the greatest impact on my vision of an ideal Christmas? The weather. My journaling reads:

As Bing Crosby sings, “I’m dreaming of a White Christmas.” That pretty much sums up my image of an ideal Christmas. If I fantasize that I actually had control over all the necessary elements, this is what Christmas would look like: First of all, Snow. Lots of it, falling all night long on Christmas Eve, so we have a few inches on the ground. Good, solid, wet snow, too. We could watch it fall, as we sat next to our decorated pine tree, sipping hot cider. Then, on Christmas morning, while we open gifts in our pajamas, we can listen to holiday music and watch more snow as it continues to fall. After we opened presents, we’d get dressed so we can play outside, make a snowman, and then come back inside for a cup of hot cocoa with tiny marshmallows on top while we sit next to a blazing fire to warm up our frozen toesies. We’d bundle ourselves back up, in festive attire, and trek out to see family and friends, bringing them baskets of goodies to enjoy Christmas evening.
