Shimelle read my mind!

As we finished locking the tree into the treestand yesterday, I looked down at the floor and said to Ken, "You know, the only part of having a real tree that I don't like? The needles getting everywhere." So, when part of today's journaling directions was to include an element about something we hated, it was actually the first thing that came to mind -- a prompt about Christmas trees AND about something we hated about Christmas? EASY PEASY! Then, it was a matter of hunting down the photo I knew that I had of my elf ornaments...and the adhesive backed plastic envelope I remembered I'd stashed somewhere...and caving into buying a box transparencies. It's quarter to midnight ... and my entry for today is done. And I think it's in my top 3 of my pages thus far! *smile*

that is why i don't have a real tree anymore - the needles and the fact that they are hugely expensive here. love love your entry and your use of a transparency for journaling and the envelope - the envelope is a very nice touch. thanks for sharing!

Great idea to use the needles in the little envelope. I'd love a real tree but am too wary of the needles everywhere!
