Snow very happy!

I'll admit to bouncing up and down on my chair and giggling excitedly when I read the prompt for today's journalling. I'll confess to happily grabbing a whole stack of paper to play with making snowflakes and taking delight in watching tiny snippets of white drift down onto my crafting mat as they took shape. I'll own up to certain amount of glee in going crazy with my silver stamp pad and tiny snowflake stamp. But I cannot lay claim to the framework of the poem I used. I swiped it from TS Eliot, so I offer up my thanks, and my new transposition:

Remember, remember the snows of December,

The inches of snowfall long sought

I see of no reason why the blizzard season

Should ever be so fought.

Snowflakes, snowflakes are heaven-sent

To remind us of our daily intent

Large drifts of powder cause us to slow

Aid a trav’ler who needs a tow

Scatter salt on an icy patch

With building a snowfort, plans do hatch

Wintertime, Wintertime, toes need warming

Wintertime, Wintertime, snow so charming

I want more snow!
