Welcome to the 2006 Holiday Edition of Getting to Know Your Friends!

You know the drill. Don't be a scrooge!!!

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot chocolate!!!!!!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? He wraps them...have people actually had experiences with Santa forgetting to wrap them??

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white
Depends on which strands of lights are operational. :)

4. Do you hang mistletoe? No

5. When do you put your decorations up? Usually they start going up the first week of December

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Cookie Day!

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Making our own Christmas stockings with my mom.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What truth? I am confused.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
NEVER!

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Fresh cut, real tree with medium sized lights (very important to our marital harmony), some kind of garland, and an assortment of loved ornaments

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? LOVE IT!

12. Do you know how to ice skate? Skate, yes ... stop, no. My nephew, the hockey goalie, has promised to teach me how to stop.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? I remember many gifts ... but I couldn't tell you which ones were Christmas and which ones were birthday!

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending time with the ones I love.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Gumdrop cookies.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? giving gifts!

17. What tops your tree? a glittery star

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Definitely love the process of selecting & giving gifts, but it is also awesome to receive gifts that are lovingly hand picked!

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Carol of the Bells. Oddly, I do not have this on CD or tape!

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Yummy, in moderation. Also fun to stick a peppermint stick into an orange and suck the juice out. It works. Really.
