I consider myself a kind person, but I am definitely NOT a push-over. I try to attend to what others need and what will bring joy into their lives, and then make it happen. But people who make the mistake of trying to manipulate me learn that it is not a good idea. I have respect for people who stand on their own two feet, and if they fall occasionally, that's normal...but for people who whine and complain and try to live on others' kindnesses, that kind of thing just angers me in the extreme!
